Motive For Persecution

[Update May 24, 2011. As a result of being denied an attorney at the Oct. 28, 2010, Preliminary Inquiry as described below, the matter is now set for trial on June 22, 2011, in the High Court in Roseau, the capital. Since it is unlikely that the author (Dr. Keene) would survive prison here, it now boils down to "Professor faces death penalty for buying jewelry in Dominica".]
I have been persecuted by agencies of the Commonwealth of Dominica -- certain police and its Department of Public Prosecution (DPP) since February, 2009, as described in detail at the Kidnapped by Police in Dominica web site which
presents the true and unfinished story of the persecution and near-death experience of Dr. James Keene, a medical school professor, at the hands of police in the Commonwealth of Dominica. The "Testimony" and "Updates" links tell a frightening account of kidnapping, extortion, false arrest and imprisonment and apparent robbery by police and denial of legal representation in the Oct. 28, 2010, Preliminary Inquiry hearing in District Court G.
I have no clear idea why I have been unjustly targeted and herein consider possible motives for this persecution including cover-up of mistakes by certain police, financial gain, eliminate competition, a corrupt physician, religious persecution because I am a member of the Baha'i Faith, a minority religion, and shutdown of Ross University School of Medicine.
